I hold no licence to sell you investment products, and I treat that as a feature of the practice rather than a gap in it. My only product is your plan. When a licensed institution belongs in the conversation, I say so, name my relationship with it, and step back while you decide. In a market where undisclosed commissions are common, I publish my partnerships and earn my keep in the open.
There are also things I will not do, and you should know them before you call. I will not pick stocks for you, promise you a return, or hurry a decision that deserves a quarter. Guidance that respects your intelligence moves at the pace of evidence.
